The Cowgirl

So today Annelore and I headed to Ozark, Alabama to run in the NBHA AL05 at the Dale County Ag Plex. It's a nice little arena with tons of places to park your truck and trailer as well. We each got an exhibition ticket and I went first on Tex. Tex made a nice lope through and was feeling good. Annelore went right after me and had a nice first, but bogged up at the second, sending her horse to her knees and scrambling to get up. She never recovered and Annelore came off as Shi landed on her side. She scraped the back of her front right leg with the shoe on her right hind hoof as she scrambled to get up. She was limping a bit afterwards but has since stopped limping.  Both of them were okay! The horse, Shi just has a cut on her front right.  Thankfully Tex worked super well for me, despite not being in complete shape. He ran a 15.7 and that placed us in the 2D but out of the money! But it was three pretty turns and a clean run and that is all

Annelore and I worked the babies today and have two days until the barrel race!! Wish us and the babies luck!  Me and Tex, the gelding I'm running Saturday Annelore's running this pretty mare Shi on Saturday!! Good Frenchman Friday Georgia Tex getting his TheraPlate time
